Lightbridge ERP A Lightbridge company

ERP and NetSuite case studies.

Lightbridge ERP is an independent, vendor-neutral ERP advisory firm that delivers NetSuite in-house. These case studies describe real engagements with client identities, figures, and deployment specifics withheld. Each summary states the challenge, what Lightbridge delivered, and the outcome, several of which became productized NetSuite extensions.

Lightbridge ERP case studies describe the work and its outcome, not confidential details.

Client identities, financial figures, transaction volumes, and deployment specifics are withheld in every summary below. These are real engagements, described at the level of the problem, the approach, and the result, so the nature of the work is clear without exposing anything a client would consider confidential. Several of these engagements produced capabilities that Lightbridge later productized, fully sanitized, as NetSuite extensions available to other organizations.

Professional sports

Unifying sponsorship, ticketing, and finance systems for a professional sports organization

The challenge

Sponsorship and ticketing revenue lived in separate sponsorship-management and CRM platforms, while finance ran on NetSuite. Teams reconciled the three systems by hand, which slowed the close and left sales and finance working from different numbers.

What Lightbridge delivered

Lightbridge designed and delivered the integration so sponsorship and ticketing data flows from the sponsorship-management and CRM platforms into NetSuite, where the revenue is recognized and reported in one place. NetSuite is the system of record, with the upstream platforms feeding it.

The outcome

One reconciled revenue picture across sales and finance, with most of the manual re-keying between the three systems eliminated and several days taken out of the monthly close.

Aftermarket parts distribution

Consolidating purchase orders for buying power at a parts distributor

The challenge

Individual sales orders, purchase orders, and stock replenishment were placed separately, so the distributor repeatedly missed vendor volume-pricing tiers and freight incentives that only larger, combined orders would reach.

What Lightbridge delivered

Lightbridge built selective, line-level grouping inside NetSuite that lets buyers consolidate individual lines from sales orders, purchase orders, and stock into vendor purchase orders sized to hit those tiers, without forcing an all-or-nothing merge.

The outcome

Aggregated buying power across orders, reaching vendor volume-pricing tiers and freight incentives that individual orders had been missing, for a meaningful reduction in procurement cost on consolidated purchase orders. The capability was later productized, fully sanitized of client identity, as Purchase Order Consolidation for NetSuite, now available to other distributors.

Live events and entertainment

Barcode inventory counting inside NetSuite for a live events and entertainment organization

The challenge

Cycle and physical inventory counts were manual and slow, and a full warehouse management system was heavier and more disruptive than the operation actually needed.

What Lightbridge delivered

Lightbridge built mobile barcode cycle and physical inventory counting directly inside NetSuite, a deliberately lighter alternative to a full WMS such as native NetSuite Warehouse Management or RF-SMART, scoped to the counts the team ran most.

The outcome

Counts that had taken hours completed in a fraction of the time, with fewer discrepancies and without the weight of a full WMS. The capability was productized, sanitized of client identity, as Barcode Inventory Counting for NetSuite.

Multi-entity enterprise

Optimizing NetSuite for multi-book accounting and consolidation at a multi-entity group

The challenge

A multi-subsidiary group struggled with intercompany transactions, parallel accounting books, and consolidated reporting, so the close was slow and the numbers were hard to defend across entities.

What Lightbridge delivered

Lightbridge optimized NetSuite OneWorld and multi-book accounting, streamlined the intercompany process, and tightened consolidation, so controls hold consistently across every entity and book.

The outcome

Cleaner consolidation, an estimated several days off the multi-entity close, and financial controls that behave the same way across subsidiaries and books.

Promotional products

Automating many-recipient gifting orders and third-party freight for a promotional products company

The challenge

A promotional products company ran large corporate gifting and recognition programs, one order shipping to hundreds of separate recipient addresses, while vendors also drop-shipped on its own carrier account. Both were handled manually, which consumed significant staff time and left third-party freight hard to catch and bill on before the carrier invoice arrived.

What Lightbridge delivered

Lightbridge built two NetSuite capabilities in-house: automated splitting of one order into a fulfillable sales order per recipient with correct pricing, kitting, and freight; and automated detection of third-party shipping charges billed to the company carrier account, including vendor drop-shipments, so they could be caught and billed on before the carrier invoiced, then trued up to actual.

The outcome

Substantial staff-time savings on large many-recipient sends and far tighter control of third-party freight cost. Both capabilities were later productized, fully sanitized of client identity, as Many-Destination Orders for NetSuite and Predictive Third-Party Shipping Intelligence for NetSuite.

NetSuite optimization

Optimizing NetSuite instance performance across multiple engagements

The challenge

Across a number of engagements, organizations ran NetSuite instances that had grown slow as they matured: long page and search load times, heavy saved searches and scripts, and workflows that dragged on the users who depended on them every day.

What Lightbridge delivered

Lightbridge performed NetSuite instance performance optimizations: profiling and reworking saved searches, scripts, and workflow logic, tightening record and form configuration, and removing the accumulated weight that slows a maturing account, without changing the platform underneath.

The outcome

Materially faster load times and a more responsive system for daily users, achieved by tuning the existing NetSuite account rather than replatforming.

Every Lightbridge ERP engagement is led in-house and accountable for the outcome.

What these engagements share is a delivery model rather than a single industry. Lightbridge ERP is vendor-neutral by design, accepts no vendor kickbacks, reseller quotas, or partner-tier incentives, and keeps project management and technical leadership in-house on every engagement. The NetSuite practice is delivered by a standing in-house team, which is why several of these projects could be refined into productized extensions rather than one-off custom builds.

The through-line is accountability for the result: a reconciled close, aggregated buying power, accurate counts, or a consolidation that holds across entities. For the practice behind this work, see ERP consulting, and for the productized extensions born from it, see Lightbridge Software.

Bring us the problem behind your numbers.

When a NetSuite integration, a procurement process, an inventory count, or a multi-entity close is not doing what the business needs, Lightbridge ERP scopes it vendor-neutral and delivers it in-house.
